In the past I havent been as great at posting my Walmart/Winco shopping trips. I normally dont use as many coupons, and they dont really have sales, so I figure posting these deals wont really help everyone. But on the other hand I didnt want you to think that I dont ever buy healthy produce, and such, so here you go!

What are Register Rewards?
They are little coupons that print off after you buy a certain product/products.
For example: in the ad it says Get a $2 Register Reward when you buy a $2 toothbrush.
So you will buy the toothbrush, pay $2 to cashier and out will print a little coupon that says "Save $2 on your next purchase." You can then use the Register Reward and pay for your next purchase of what ever you want.

-note:You cannot buy two of the same product offering Register Rewards and expect two RRs to print off. You have to buy them in separate transactions.

-note:You can't use a Register Reward from one product to purchase the same product or brand type to get another Register Reward. The new RR will not print.
(I have lost you havent I?)

-note: Watch the expiration dates! Register Rewards DO expire.

Bought TONS of Smores supplies

Albertsons Doublers are great fun.
My dear friend Becky sent me some extra doublers that she didnt need so I went a little Smores crazy today. Why do I need so many Smores you may ask? Well, I am in charge of the food section of an upcoming Family Reunion! So I am giving 10 sets of each smore item to the reunion. That leaves 4 for me and my family for our camping trips this summer.

Dog Freebie!

My Shopping This week

Hello all.
Its been awhile since I posted any of my shopping trips.
But with Doublers and all..I just had to share. :)

So first I went to Albertsons and Fred Meyer.

I made a lame mistake here... I just bought 6 Kraft BBQ sauces and used coupons on all of them plus doubled. It was still a great deal, but if I would have purchased 4 more I would have been able to get those 4 free as well. Still a great deal as it was though.

I spent $3.24 and got back $3 in a catalina.

Then at Fred Meyers I purchased 4 Tillamook cheese, 2 butter, 3 Jello puddings, and some apples. I am probably going to go back this week and stock up on more butter and cheese.

I spent $18.91 and used a $1/3 jello coupon.

Now for Today:
Albertsons Doublers:
1st Transaction
6 Bar-S hotdogs -used (3) $1/2 coupons and doubled
Paid .87 for ALL 6!!

2nd Transaction:
Explained about yesterdays mess up and wondered if I could purchase 4 more, and get $3 instant savings..they said that was fine.
So I purchased the 4 BBQ sauces
-8 Macaroni & Cheeses - used (2) Buy 3 get 1 FREE printables
-2 more BBQ sauce -used $1/1 printables
-one kraft mayo -used $1/1 printable
-one kraft miracle whip-used $1/1 printable
Paid .50 for all of it and got back a $3 Catalina and a $2 catalina

Then after Albertsons I went off to Winco to do the pop tarts movie ticket deal.
I bought 10 packs at .98 cents each
-used (2) $1/1 peelies, and (4) $1/2 from 5/3 SS
Paid $3.80 and I will get 2 Movie Tickets in the mail!!

And so I thought I was doing good,
just going in Winco for the poptarts..
when looked what appeared out of nowhere.

I was weak..couldnt resist. Oh dear, come to me cookies..
I know they are so bad for you, but mmmm are they yummy.
I also threw in the cart some frozen hamburger patties as well.
So add $9.47 to my totals :)

Oh and the $37.96 I spent at Walmart this week too. Lots of produce, milk, bagels,kids lunch supplies,potatoes, cottage cheese plus lots of other basic staples.

I need to majorly update my totals..I pretty much took a month off of doing my shopping posts on here. Sorry, its been so busy and the kids have been sick. Now I am sick.. and losing my voice.
So, I will work on that tomorrow. Here are my totals for this weeks shopping!

KFC No longer Taking Coupons

KFC has decided to stop accepting the coupons for a free 2-piece chicken dinner due to the overwhelming response.

Don't throw the coupons away -- you have two options:
1. Take the coupon to a KFC to get a raincheck form. Fill out the raincheck, attach your coupon & send it in to KFC. They will send you a raincheck "at a later date." They will also give you a Pepsi for your trouble. It's not clear from the website if you can get a raincheck for multiple coupons submitted from one household. Read more here.

2. Bring your KFC coupon to El Pollo Loco on Mother's Day only and receive a FREE 2-piece chicken meal.

Word on the street is

I cannot really confirm this until I get my paper tomorrow..but the rumors have been coming from all over the place ;) Possible Doublers in our Sunday paper for 3 days only again. I know I am crossing my fingers!

How I Organize my Coupons

Organizing Coupons

There are so many ways to organize your coupons. I don't think there is a wrong way or a right way, you just need to find what really works for you. Some people get a binder with trading card pages and fill it full of coupons. Others use the little coupon accordion style coupon organizers you can buy in the stores. There are briefcases with alphabetized coupons. Some just stack up their inserts into a bin. I have tried so many different ways including most all of those types. And they each have their benefits and drawbacks. This is what has worked best for me.

What I use:
For my Sunday Newspaper Inserts (I get multiples Sunday papers each week):
I use a hanging file folder like this one (Walmart--box $5 , Folders $6):


I organize it by Month and by Insert. For Example I have:
-Jan SmartSource Insert folder.
- Jan Red Plum Insert folder
-Feb SmartSource insert folder
-Feb Red Plum Insert folder
and so on..

I set it up so that Jan, Feb, March, April, May and June tabs face one way, and on the other side of the same tabs are July, Aug, Sept, Oct,Nov and December. That way after 6 months, and its time to turn it around, the inserts that were in it are probably all expired and can be thrown out. I also have a Proctor & Gamble Folder and a Misc. folder. I use the Misc. folder for internet printables that I print knowing they will be a great deal in the future and also for Restaurant-type coupons.

What I do: I take my 6 Sunday papers and remove the inserts out. I then pocket all the Smartsource inserts inside each other and label on the front of the insert the date. I do the same for any and all other inserts as well. Then into their hanging file folder they go! My Sunday newspaper insert coupons stay neat and tidy. And when I need them I can open up that folder, and cut out what I need.

For all my tearpad coupons, blinkie coupons and homemailer ones I file them in an alphabetized accordion type organizer you can pick up just about anywhere.

And thats how I organize my coupons! How do you organize yours?
