Walgreens is currently offering a $5 store rebate when you you buy an Energizer rechargeable charger like the one pictured. The charger is on sale this week for $7.99, so you get it for $2.99 after Easysaver rebate. You can get it for free by also submitting your receipt for this rebate offered by the manufacturer for $5 back when you buy one Energizer Rechargeable charger. You actually come out ahead $2.01, that should over tax and stamp for mailing your rebate.

If you submit your Walgreens rebates by mail, just make sure you ask for a rebate receipt so that you can also submit for the manufacturer rebate. Here are some instructions on how to get rebate receipts at Walgreens. If you can't make it to the store before the sale ends (Saturday 12/20), don't despair. The regular price of the pictured charger is $9.99 so you still get it for free after both rebates. Annual Budget for Family of 6? Need your OPINION!

I have been following this blog where this gal has a yearly budget of $800 for a family of 4 for a year. It has been fun to see her keep a budget and see all the goods she brings home for cheap.

My little curious mind has been wondering...can I do a yearly budget like this and stick to it for groceries? Of course I have a family of 6 and a big dog so I would need a budget of around $1000 or $1200 for a year of groceries. Plus I am in a land of no coupon doubling so it would be harder for me than the other blogger. -It would also mean no useless couponing (by that meaning not buying stuff I really dont need just because its really cheap). Can I do this? Hmmm....

So what do you think? I dont know for sure if I can do it and I really dont like failure..but I really am curious about trying this...hmmmm..

I am thinking of doing something to make this blog a little bit easier to follow. Please comment which one you would most like!

So some of my ideas are these---

1) have a beginners post once a week - for those of you Coupon Newcomers.. with little things for you to do...

and also have an advanced couponer post for the week too...

or

2) just post a picture what I have been getting, not getting specific on what coupons I am using, just how much I have saved.. Have a yearly budget to follow for all groceries and see if I can keep it -- like feed a family of 6 for $1000 for a year... and you can just watch and see for fun

or
