>> April 27, 2009

If you dont get many Sunday insert Coupons you can still participate in the Living Well promo going on at Safeway. Here is a scenario for just Internet Printables!

Buy These Items:
2 Boxes DreamField Pastas -$4
1 California Kitchen Frozen Pizza $5.99
2 Cans Muir Glen Tomatoes- $4.10
2 Cartons Trop50 OJ- $5
2 Packages YoPlus Yogurt - $5
1 Bottle of Bright Green Bleach - $1.49
1 Bags of Mission Tortillas - $2.50
2 6-packs of Deer Park Water (also known as Ozarka in other markets) - $3.98
Subtotal = $31.06

Hand the cashier these Coupons:
-Use 2 $1/1 Dreamfield Pasta Coupon HERE OR HERE ($2)
-Use 1 $2/1 California pizza HERE ($2)
-Use 2 $1/1 Muir Glen Coupon HERE ($2)
-Use 2 $1/1 Trop50 Coupon HERE ($2)
-Use 2 $1.50/1 YoPlus Coupon HERE ($3)
-Use 1 $1/1 Bright Green HERE ($1)
-Use 1 $1/1 Mission Tortillas HERE ($1)
Total Value of Coupons = $13

Pay $18.06 out of pocket
Earn 1 $10 coupon to be used on your next order (For Living Well Promo)
Earn 1 $2 coupon to be used on your next order (For Buying Deer Park Water)
Final Price = $6.06

Notes:*Not all stores carry the Muir Glen line. If your store doesn’t have them, buy 2 more 6-packs of Deer Park water and 1 extra bag of Mission Tortillas. Or one more California Kitchen pizza.
You will pay around $20.45 out of pocket but get $14 back in coupons (10 LW + 4 Water).
That’s a final price of $6.55 ish

-Be sure you check all shelf tags to ensure you are grabbing ones that are part of the promo. Not all OJ and YoPlus flavors qualify. You must check the tags!
-If your coupon does not print. Go to customer service and nicely explain what happened. They will very likely right the situation.

Thanks Savings with Shellie for help in creating this scenario.

Karrie or anyone else reading,
I was wondering if you've been told by a Safeway cashier that you can only use one IP coupon per transaction for a single product. Such as in the above scenario I wouldn't be able to use 2 $1/1 Dreamfield Pasta Coupons since I printed them. They would only let me use one. Has anyone run into this? Is this really corp policy? This happened to me at the Kennewick Safeway.

Cris, I have never been told that. In fact I have often used mulitiple internet printables at that very location. However, I just got off the phone with them and they said they had a bulletin from corporate that reads they can only accept ONE copy of any one internet printable. That really stinks. I will try to go in and change the scenario. Thanks for the info. Buy the way..anyone else out there have this problem?

Oh but wait..lol..Just called the Richland Safeways and they WILL take more than one internet printable! So just go ahead and do your shopping at Richland Safeways on George Washington Way. :)

That is so wacky! I did go to the Richland Safeway last week and I can't remember if I used multiple IP's or not. Well, I guess I'll have to do my shopping there from now on until we're told otherwise. Too bad the Kennewick Safeway will be losing out on our transactions! Thanks for checking it out Karrie!

I was told the same thing a month or so ago in Kennewick during the tree top juice sale. I will just have to go to Richland.

Karrie -- thanks for putting this together. I went yesterday and did the Classico pasta sauce/free noodle deal as part of the Living Well promo. The $10 coupon didn't print out but the customer service lady gave me the $10 anyway.

I have been told the same thing at the Kennewick Safeway ... only one IP coupon per transaction.

I have had other 'issues' at that Safeway, so though they often have a larger selection in Kennewick, I have decided to shop only at my Safeway in Hermiston.

(I'm saving my tri-cities running for stores I don't have like Albies and Walgreen's!)

Went to the Richland Safeway tonight and they would only let me use one IP per item... She said they had some coupon fraud and aren't allowed to do more than that now - So, I don't know who you talked to there, but they wouldn't do it for me!
