More Cereal for me..my shopping today.

I have been sick with a cold for a couple of weeks now, so I havent been shopping as much as normal.

I did two runs to grocery stores..one to Walmart and bought 30 lbs of boneless chicken breast using the ad match for Fiestas $1.39lb. I used my $50 barbie visa MIR card..so $0 out of pocket there. Then I went to Safeway and purchased a ton of Ground Turkey, and some other stuff..and used my Transfer Prescription gift cards..spent $0 out of pocket there as well.

Today I went to Safeways and brought home more cereal.

What I bought:
12 Post Raisan Bran - used $1/2 and $1.50/2 catalinas
3 Captain Crunch $1.99 -used .50/1 Qs
5 Kelloggs Mini wheats $1.99 - used $1/1 peelies
5 lbs carrots .99
1 Orange juice $1.99-used $1/1 Q
1 Fresh Express kit $1.98
10 cans dog food $1.49 -used 10 Free can Qs
-each 4 of the raisen brans produced $4 OYNO catalinas
-used $3.46 from remaining balance on my gift card
=total spent $7.04 out of pocket!
=total saved $ 41.40 (just coupons used)


So..yeah, its official, I can no longer bring home any more cheap cereal..for awhile. Seriously, everytime anyone comes over..and they see my pantry, they say.."WOW..thats A LOT of cereal!" Its true..I have lots. I counted today, and I have 58 boxes of cereal in my pantry. On the upside, if a natural disaster strikes..you all can come to my house for a bowl of cereal!!
