Diapers! Diapers! Get em for $2.50 per pack!

>> March 14, 2009

This Sunday 3/15 - Saturday 3/21 at Walgreens you can get diapers for $2.50 per pack!!

That is super cheap! They are the "Walgreens brand" but they work pretty well in my opinion. I find they run about a 1/2 size too small, so you will want to size up!
Here is what you do:

Go to the Pharmacy in your local Walgreens. Ask one of the pharmacists for a coupon book called "$50 in Great Savings" Inside is a $2 coupon for Walgreens diapers. It looks like this:

The coupons inside look like this:

Note: The diaper coupon does say limit 1. But I never follow Walgreens limits unless the checker enforces the limit. And did you know that if you buy 4 packs of diapers and you hand them the one coupon for $2 it will take off $8? Its true. The computer will take off $2 per pack regardless of it saying limit 1.
(By the way, I wouldnt go and get like 20 packs of diapers and try this..the checker might notice this and limit you..I like to stay under the radar, but if you are feeling gutsy..feel free , live on the wild side of life. I like to do 4 packs at a time to be safe. :)

Grab the walgreens diapers on sale for 2/$9 and put them in your cart.
Lets say you want 4 packs.
Go to check out, the checker will ring up 4 packs of diapers.
Hand them *One* $2 coupon. (this will take $8 off)
Your total will be $10! (Use a $10 Register Reward if you want to)

Pay and leave with a huge happy smile!

Now I have heard that some of you out there have asked your pharmacy for these little booklets and have had no luck. The pharmacist has no idea..they don't have them, etc. So...

I am going to GIVEAWAY one coupon booklet to the first 5 people who comment on this post! I was able to grab some extras last time I was in and would love to share. For the first 5 commenter's, please email me at fistfulofcoupons@live.com and give me your address! I will mail off first thing Monday morning!

Hi there! I received a link to your blog from two of my in-laws! (The Halls, in case your were curious). Anyway, I'd love a coupon booklet if you're really giving them away! I love your blog! How do you find out about the Walgreens ads in advance, or the booklets that you're giving away?

Thanks to you first 5 people. For the rest of you, if you are in the Tri-City WA area, the road 68 had them for sure. So check at the pharmacy there. For everyone else, I will see if I can grab a few more on Monday, and if so please leave a comment if you will want one. I cant guarantee it..but I will sure try!

I would love a coupon book if you are able to get a hold of any more. Love looking to see what good deals you have found.

You are awesome! Note to all: my sister's WG in Portland, OR told her that to get the coupon book she had to "Ask about their rx savings program." So she did and they begrudgingly gave it to her:) But the last time I was in our new store here in Yakima, I heard over the WG radio that same thing "ask about our new rx program and get a booklet with $50 in money saving coupons".....so try that route! I asked and they looked all over and truly could not find them, but they are a very new store!

PS my other wg store told me that I had to request a medicare part D print out to get the booklet? They are always difficult!
