Went and finished up my Albertsons shopping for the week today..as it is the last day of this ads doublers. Next week there is no doubler..so I went a little crazy today.

Today at Albertsons I bought (in 4 transactions):
16 Darigold chocolate milks -used $1/2 q & doublers
10 Dannon yogurts - used $1/10 and 1Free WYB 6 Blinkie - and doublers
2 Orville popcorns - used $1/1 and doublers
1 Jolly Time popcorn 6 pk - used $1.50/1 IP and doubler
2 pepperidge farm goldfish crackers -used $1/2 & doubler
1 can lindsay olives - used .50/1 homemailer and doubler
1 thomas bagels - used $1/1 homemailer and doubler
3 minute brown rice - used $1/1 and doublers
3 bags fries - used in ad q for .99each
french bread - used free receipt q
spent =5.04
saved $63.75
And at SAVE-A-LOT I bought:
11.5 pounds oranges (.49 lb) $5.78
3 lbs bananas (.33 lb) $1.02
2 lbs asparagus (1.99 lb) $4.40
spent=11.20
Total Spent today=$16.24
Total saved today=$63.75+

Finally did the math on all my spending savings for January:
Jan - spent $166.70
Jan - saved $757.22
Feb so far spent $114.42
Feb so far saved $225.78
Not too shabby for a family of 6 right? :)

hey, I'm ashleighs friend and I love you tips. Question: how do you figure how many transactions you need for the best savings?

Jas and Rach - thanks for the question...Basically I can only use the 4 coupon doublers per transaction. So for instance: I would buy 8 chocolate milks - because I had 4 coupons that said save $1 when you buy 2 chocolate milk. And then I use the 4 doublers on top of that for another $4 in savings. But you can only use 4 of those little doubler coupons per transaction. So - $8 for 8 choc milks - minus $4 in manufacturers coupons - minus $4 in doublers = FREE chocolate milk! :) Hope that helps. I will have to do a post that simplifies this a little later.
